ASEAN Sustainable Development Summit 2019
Launch of the Report:
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EXISTING LAWS TO PREVENT AND CURB SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Wednesday, 27th November 2019, Sunway University, JC 3
Sexual harassment permeates the lives of everyone especially women and girls and is deeply ingrained in our society. Escalating numbers of sexual harassment cases in schools, workplaces, private and public places pose great challenges, thus raising the questions on the adequacy and effectiveness of existing measures including laws to prevent and curb sexual harassment. In addressing this national concern, we conducted a nationwide survey to address the issue on sexual harassment.
